02 Days / 01 Night Safari

Located in a serene forest glade, on the slopes snow-capped Mount Kenya, Africa’s second highest, the Lodge offers game viewing opportunities with panorama of mountain vistas of an ancient rainforest. The balconies overlook the water-hole where a procession of animals come to drink, bathe, spur and forage around the water hole. One can venture down to the secret viewing hide by the water’s edge and experience the awesome thrill of being only meters away from some of the most massive beasts on earth.

MOUNTAIN LODGE OVERNIGHT SAFARI

Day 01    NAIROBI - MOUNTAIN LODGE

Morning drive north into Central Kenya past sisal, coffee, tea and horticultural farms en route to Mountain Serena Lodge.  Remainder of the day in the Lodge precincts, game viewing from the  numerous decks overlooking a floodlit salt lick/water hole where animals come to drink and frolick. Lunch, dinner and overnight at MOUNTAIN SERENA LODGE.

Day 02   MOUNTAIN LODGE - NAIROBI

Early breakfast at the Lodge then rejoin your safari driver for the return drive to Nairobi, arriving at about noon.
