06 Days / 05 Nights Safari

This flying safari visits the slopes of Mount Kenya, Africa's second highest mountain and Maasai Mara - the reserve with reportedly the largest concentration of animals in the world.  Highlights of the trip include great views of Mount Mount Kenya, optional game drive in at Sweetwaters with chimpanzee orphanage and a chance of watching the seasonal animal migration and visiting a traditional Maasai manyatta village.

Day 01: NAIROBI
Arrive Jomo Kenyatta Airport and transfer to your Nairobi hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.  Overnight at a Hotel.
 

Day 02:  NAIROBI – DRIVE OR FLY MOUNT KENYA
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Morning drive from Nairobi to Nanyuki (3 hours) - to Mount Kenya Safari Club or a Camp/house in Ol Pejeta Ranch (alternatively, fly from Nairobi to Nanyuki and tranferred from the aistrip to the units). 
If at Mount Kenya Safari Club - Lunch at Club with afternoon at leisure for optional activities. 
If at Camp/Ranch in Ol Pejeta - enjoy a game drive in the Ranch.
Dinner and overnight at Club / Camp / House.

Day 03:  MOUNT KENYA
If at Mount Kenya Safari Club - Day at leisure for optional activities, including an optional visit to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary & Chimpanzee Orphanage for a game drive. 
If in Ol Pejeta - enjoy an early morning and late afternoon game drives.
All meals and overnight at Club / Camp / House.
 

Day 04: SAMBURU – FLY MAASAI MARA

Early morning game drive. After breakfast transferred to the airstrip for scheduled flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve (flight via Nairobi or at a supplement, optional direct flight).  On arrival at the local Maasai Mara Airstrip, met and transferred to Lodge/Camp.  Late afternoon game drive.  Dinner and overnight at a Camp / Lodge.

Day 05:  MAASAI MARA

Early morning and late afternoon game drives.  All meals and overnight at a Camp / Lodge.

Day 06: MAASAI MARA – FLY NAIROBI & DEPART

Dawn game drive prior to breakfast. Use of room/tent until 10.00hrs only. Transferred back to the airstrip for scheduled return flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport, met and transferred to your Nairobi hotel or directly to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for departure flight (at least 03 hours prior to flight time).
